⚽ PSC Player Registration

Welcome to Portage Youth Soccer Club! We’re excited to have your player join our growing soccer family. Below is everything you need to know to register for the upcoming season.

🟢 Registration Deadline

Registration closes January 24th at 11:59 PM.
Late Registration closes January 31st at 11:59 PM.
Late registrations may not be guaranteed team placement.

💲 Registration Fee

Payment plans are available.
$195.00 — includes:

• NWISL League and Soccer Association for Youth registration fee

• Full uniform kit (home jersey, away jersey, shorts, socks) 

📝 Required Documents

To complete registration and confirm roster eligibility, all players must upload:

• Birth certificate

• Current player photo (see photo requirements below)

Registration is NOT complete until:
✔ Full payment is submitted
✔ Required documents are uploaded
✔ Minimum fundraiser participation of $30 per season is met

Only fully completed registrations are eligible for team placement.

📅 Season Information

Each season includes 8 regular-season games plus an end-of-season tournament.

• Four (4) of the eight games are played at our home fields at Imagination Glen East.

• Remaining games are played at NWISL partner clubs throughout Northwest Indiana.
  Common opponents include Munster, Griffith, Valpo, Crown Point, Lowell, Duneland, and Hobart, among others.

All regular-season games are played on Sundays, with Saturdays reserved for make-up games.

📍 Practice Locations

Practices are held at:

• Imagination Glen East

• Fields on Lute Road

Head Coaches determine the practice schedule based on team needs and field availability.

👥 Who Can Register

Players ages U6–U14 (new and returning).
No tryouts required for age groups.

Team placement sessions ("Show Up & Show Out") help us build fair and competitive teams.

📸 Player Photo Requirements

Photos must be updated every season.

Acceptable Photos:

• Original, unedited digital image (no filters)

• Even lighting; no shadows on face or background

• Player facing the camera, head centered

• Full face visible

• Religious head coverings are welcome

Tip: Use a simple, passport-style headshot.

🎽 Uniforms

All players must wear the official PSC uniform.
Your uniform kit is included in the registration fee.

Starting Spring 2026, kits include:

• Home jersey

• Away jersey

• Shorts

• Socks

Uniform kits may be reused for multiple seasons if:

• They are in good condition

• They still fit the player properly

📍 Practice & Game Locations

Practices are held in Portage.
Games are played throughout Northwest Indiana depending on age group and league schedules.
